Hmm.. i see.. i'll try to give my opinions regarding your situation. But remember, you are the one who will decide which path you will take.

1. Financial problems. FYI, MBBS course in any university especially the privates is expensive. In fact, it is the world's number one most expensive school fees. Yup, you definitely need sponsors.

2. MARA scholar/loan. Yes, Mara fully recognized MBBS in MSU. To get information further on how to apply, I think its best if you refer your MSU caunselor and ask every doubts about MARA application. I may not answer regarding this matter personally bcoz i believe they have their own updated requirements and terms.

3. Age. Actually age doesnt matter IF YOU REALLY DETERMINED to do medicine. The truth is, many of my batchmates continue medicine eventhough they graduated from Pharmacy degrees, Biomedicine degrees or Medical Lab dip past 4 years. To consider, quite a number of my friends who are older than your age. It depends on you, how u plan your life? Do you want to concentrate on medicine? Do you not mind if say, u r married and have your own family at the same time going through a campus life?

4. Parents advice. I see that your parents care for you. They actually want the best in your future. Remember that. But sometimes, you need to consider yourself too. If you follow their suggest, do you think you will be able to handle the outcomes? Try to think beyond and you definitely need to discuss it with your family. Make them understand what you feel right to do in your life.

Personally, I experienced this dilemma too. I almost let go my dream on medicine and were about to pursue BioTech degree in USM with JPA scholar. Most of my aunts and uncles advised to go for USM but somehow i didnt feel like i want to. At the end, I know what I really want and pray to Allah about my choice. Indeed, i promise to myself to accept any consequences or hardship. Alhamdulillah, I went through it and everything runs smoothly with the help from HIM.

I hope you can think wisely and choose the right path for your future. After all, you are the one will decide. Trust yourself, thats the most important! ^_^ RNShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09036169067884773862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4343125225550658108.post-37070688981021617082012-09-28T20:29:22.243+08:002012-09-28T20:29:22.243+08:00Slm wbt and a very good evening senior. can I call...Slm wbt and a very good evening senior. can I call u senior?, cos I'm actually intend to pursue my studies in this field.
First of all, thanks for your entries. I have fun and sure get inspirations by reading ur post.
Allow me to get straight to the point. Actually, I've taken the MSU MET couple weeks ago, and they've called me earlier informing me that I pass the test+interview and offered the MBBS course. Alhamdulillah...^^
But the problem is about my financial. As u know, MBBS in MSU is really expensive. My family is not rich, and my parents have many other dependents. Other than that, I still have to consider my age. Since it took about 5years to study medicine, I will be too old (I think) before I became a doctor officially..
(p/s: I am now 24years old. Assume I'll became a doctor at the age of 29/30)
Beside that, I also got an offer to continue my studies in Biotechnology at a local university. But the course field will be 180deg different from what I've taken before. I am an undergraduate in Diploma of Medical Lab Technology.
I am actually in dilemma whether i should pursue my dream to become a doctor, or just let it go and take a different path. I have a very keen interest in medicine and it was my dream to become a doctor since young. But my parents suggest i should just accept the biotech offer and let go of my dream considering the problems I've mentioned above.
If u were in my place, which one would you choose...?
Also, does MARA fully support MSU MBBS? How to apply? What are the requirements or terms to apply?
Thanks in advance for anyone who give feedbacks^*norakirayumihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18006889160206108077noreply@blogger.com
